Meyers Ranch Beef Lasagna

In our house ground beef is our favourite cut! We eat it easily 3-4 times/week. I love how versatile it is. Lasagna is a favourite and a meal that I can guarantee the kids will enjoy! I always make a double batch so I can cook one and stick one in the freezer for later. 


- 3lbs Ground Beef 

- 2 boxes lasagna noodles (we prefer the ones we cook first but you can also opt for oven ready) 

- 2 jars of your favourite pasta sauce 

- 750 mls cottage cheese 

- mozzarella cheese

- 1 medium onion 

- 3 cloves garlic 


- Brown the ground beef and onion till cooked. Add in garlic and 2 jars of pasta sauce. 

- Cook both boxes of lasagna noodles 

- In the bottom of two 9 x 13 pan place a layer of noodles. 

- Top noodles with meat sauce and cover with cheese 

- Add another layer of noodles 

- Top with cottage cheese 

- Add another layer of noodles 

- Top with meat sauce and more grated cheese 

- Add another layer of noodles

- Top with a thin layer of meat sauce and lots of grated cheese

Bake at 350 for 30 minutes until golden brown. 

Serve with garlic toast and a side of caesar salad!
